Music & Content Policy
GAME ON! does not host, copy, or distribute music recordings. When a game uses a song or video clip, the facilitator launches or embeds the official YouTube player, which stays on YouTube's servers and plays under YouTube's terms of service.
What facilitators supply
Facilitators paste or select their own YouTube links. GAME ON! only stores the link and the start-time cue — not the audio or video file.
What facilitators are responsible for
- Choosing links from official artist, label, or rights-holder channels whenever possible.
- Making sure their use fits their own program's licenses, site agreements, and public-performance rules.
- Not downloading, ripping, or re-uploading copyrighted recordings through the app.
If a link stops working
YouTube videos can be removed, region-blocked, or changed by the uploader at any time. If a clip does not play, the facilitator can swap in another link on the spot.
Images and trivia
Curated images, portraits, and trivia in GAME ON! are drawn from public-domain or Creative-Zero (CC0) sources and recorded in the app's content notes. Facilitator-created content belongs to that facilitator and their organization.
This is a practical policy, not legal advice. If your program has specific licensing questions, please consult your own attorney or licensing representative.
